This is a vintage 1970s Pendleton wool kilted skirt in the Campbell clan tartan known as Black Watch. It is a combination of black, navy blue and green. It is wrap skirt style, fringed front edge, flat in front and pleated in back, closes with one inner and outer button at the waist. Not lined. It is in excellent condition apart from one small snag just below waistband on left back hip, see bottom left of last photo.

This is the clan tartan of my great great grandmother.

Note: Vintage tag size US 14 but fits a smaller modern size, more like an 10 in the waist. Shown on a size 6 dress form, clipped at the waist.Please refer to measurements in inches taken while laying flat and doubled where appropriate.
